Since 1985 Liberty Wood Products has served designers, contractors, homeowners, and architects by providing quality wood products at reasonable prices delivered in a timely manner.

In our state of the art 45,000 square foot facility, located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains we produce a broad range of products.We work in most domestic species and select exotic species. Our level of ability and experience allows us to produce a variety of different products including tongue and groove paneling, moldings, and custom, semi-custom, and modular cabinetry.

In our modern finishing room we can perform tasks from simple finishing techniques to custom color stained and painted finishes. All of our finishing products are made to the highest standards. We have a broad range of standard colors to choose from. Custom colors and finishes are also available upon request.

Based in Franklin, NC, Liberty Wood specializes in cabinetry, custom millwork, hospitality millwork, moldings, t&g, v-groove products, shiplap products, closet systems, doors, dovetail drawer boxes and more. We are your leaders of Western North Carolina Millwork!

Management & Others

Liberty Wood Product's team possesses years of industry-specific experience to meet the unique challenges and requirements of your project. We have participated in the successful completion of hundreds of projects varied in both schedule and scope. Our Management team is unique in that they combine skill and discipline so that every stage, from concept to successful installation, provides consistency and quality.

Gary Henson

General Manager
Gary has been working at Liberty wood products since 2016, and has been General Manager since 2020.

Richard Watson

Design and Engineering Manager
Richard is from Franklin, NC. He is the Design and Engineering Manager of Liberty Wood Products. Richard went to Hiawassee College in Madisonville, TN and finished at Appalachian State College in Boone, NC. He majored in Industrial Education and Industrial Technology. Instead of teaching he started one of several businesses. He was involved in starting Watson Heirlooms, before graduating in Boone, NC. As well, he was Co-Owner of Southern Heritage Wood Products, which merged with Liberty Wood Products in 2009. He is married to his beautiful wife, Jamie, of thirty six years, and is a proud dad to three beautiful children Jonathan, Ben and Mary he is also a proud papa of Riley, JJ, James, and Natalie. In his spare time he enjoys kayaking, motorcycling and fishing. Richard has been working for Liberty Wood products since 2009.

Mary Watson

Mary has been at Liberty Wood Products since 2019.

Scott Holden

Sales
Scott started working in construction in 1976. He has worked in all phases of construction. He had his own business in Florida, remodeling and building new homes. He has worked as a project manager for Smokey Mountain Retreat in Waynesville, NC. He has also built and sold spec homes in Jackson County.
Scott has been working for Liberty Wood Products since 2012.

Pat has been at Liberty Wood Products since 2020.
